‘Who’s gonna drown in your blue sea?’
The ocean feeds without prejudice on the corrupt and the blameless and spits out bones and shells and sea glass.

The ocean feeds without prejudice on the corrupt and the blameless and spits out bones and shells and sea glass.
I create my own sea to drown in every day; and I try to keep myself from drowning other people in it :)

I relate to this comment far more than I wish. But tell me more.

There is something about the blue of the sky and the green-blue of the see in combination with the sunlight.
Give me a help of a boat and I will go and sail forever.

Meaning, is it right to share our abysses? Shouldn’t the true depth of the abyss be hidden, kept out of sight, left covered to prevent accidents and prying eyes?
(meaning the generic, universal, human sense of “our”, not referring to anyone in particular…)

“All the horrors of the half-known life” … Great shot, Kari – actually, it reminds me of the final scene in Open Water.

i don’t think so. i think hiding it propagates the myth that some people have it all together, that they’ve finally achieved control over their own lives. entropy happens to everyone, and everyone has an ocean inside them.
that said, i also don’t think we should just puke up our abysses on everyone we meet. this is where judge of character comes in, do you think?
