Kari – Senegal is so beautiful!
What’s your life story there? I’ve come upon a few bits and clues here and there but am eager to know more.
Warm greetings from Niger,
Esther
PS: So glad Szavanna recommended your blog!

Hi Kari!
This photo reminds me of a trip to Utah in the early 2000s. I went to the great salt lake with an art professor to see “Spiral Jetty” by Robert Smithson, which had re-emerged from the lake after many years. I absolutely have to find a photo for you. The receding waters revealed thick pink and grey salt crystals that made the scene quite otherwordly.
Once again, your composition rocks!!!

Hey…I’m heading there on the 11th. I’ll be checking out the reserve de bandia on tuesday the 12th. I’m in the Marines and currently we just wrapped up a 5 month long deployment along the west coast…from dakar to gabon…it was awesome. What do you thing of the reserve de bandia…have you gone there yet?
