i would not call it blissful, life in the village is quite hard most of the time, with 120 degree heat and no bathrooms or running water or enough food. but there is definitely joy to be found.
you can try shooting from the hip, if you ethically feel okay with that. otherwise, i often ask if i can shoot someone and then camp out for a bit to get a candid.
Love the hairdo! Was going to have mine braided with blond extensions but ran out of time… Will have it done when I come back instead! How long did yours last?
